Menstrual hygiene day and children’s day Empowering 2,000 Girls: HASAM Foundation Celebrates Menstrual Hygiene Day

On May 28th, 2024, HASAM Foundation celebrated Children’s Day and World Menstrual Hygiene Day at Government Girls Secondary School, Dutse, Abuja. The theme, “Pad Her, Healthy Future; Together for a #PeriodFriendly Africa,” aimed to empower young girls with essential menstrual health knowledge and resources.

Interactive Workshop

Girls participated in an engaging workshop on personal hygiene and menstrual cycle tracking, with a lively Q&A session to address their questions.

Hygiene Kits Distribution

All 2,000 attendees received sanitary pads, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, along with encouraging notes.
